While A Bathing Ape has a large catalogue of collaborations under their belt with just about every brand and retailer under the sun, its a surprise they haven’t teamed up with one of the largest and most prolific EU-based retailers - END Clothing. This has finally become a reality at the tail end of 2022 as an entire bowling-themed collection is set to come from the two iconic brands, including an END Clothing x A Bathing Ape Bape STA.
Looking at the footwear in this collection, a single pair of split bowling-themed Bape STAs comes in colors familiar to those whole frequent their local bowling alley as the upper features a forest green and maroon red hue against a white backdrop. These colors come split right down the center with the mudguard featuring both shades, green on the lateral side and red on the medial, while the toebox, eyestays, and tongue stick to white. All over the overlays on each respective side sticks to the color palette set forth by the mudguard, however, the famous BAPE star logo comes in the secondary color and is stitched atop the leather via white threads. More branding details remain true to a standard Bape STA, like the heel tabs black logo, while the dubrae featured on the laces yields our only visible hit of END Clothing branding. Underfoot, the chunky Bape STA midsole gets dressed in white while the rubber outsole below this gets a gum makeover.
The END Clothing x A Bathing Ape Bape STA Bowling is set to release alongside a matching apparel capsule on December 3rd, 2022 exclusively through END Clothing online. Releasing in men’s sizing, the retail price is set at $265.
