One segment of Nike’s large umbrella of divisions that constantly nails collaborations, Nike SB, has had quite a year in 2022. With plans for a new Concepts lobster release on top of working with the likes of Faust, FroSkate, and Skate Like A Girl, it’s no question that we should expect more collaborative efforts from the skateboarding-side of Nike. Ian from the consignment shop Private Selection, posted a now deleted post that mentioned a Carhartt x Eminem x Nike SB was in the works. Eminem's manager, Paul Rosenberg, debunked the rumor by posting a now deleted comment on Sneaker Freaker's post about the collab rumor by simply saying "Not a thing".
Back in 2015 Eminem previously worked with Carhartt and Jordan Brand on a Jordan 4 that looks similar to the “Black Canvas” colorway. With Eminem being from Detroit the synergy between the Detroit-based company made sense. That said, an SB collab made little sense. Eminem is not a skater and has no connection to Nike SB. As much as sneakerheads would love another collaboration to happen, the Eminem x Jordan 4 Carhartt is likely the last part collaborative effort we will see.
