Australian menswear label and retail staple Earls is rolling out its second collaboration with Asics this month, and this time around, the story is going back to the brand’s Kiwi origins. Founded by retired rugby superstar Lewi Brown, Earls’ latest collab is a time capsule tribute to Brown’s childhood home and his father.

After getting a quick preview of the pair in an Instagram video from Earls at the top of the week, the impending drop has now brought us a full set of official images, showing off the detailed knit and plush leather upper inspired by the house that Brown grew up in and his mother’s knitting. The insoles add even more childhood accents, featuring a graphic print of a rug from Brown’s youth.

Earls co-branding is added to the lace stabilizer and lateral heel tag, with an Asics logo on the tongue.

The Earls x Asics Gel-Cumulus 16 will be released May 22, 2026, through Asics and select retailers in-store and online, with an early drop from Earls presumably coming soon.
