Duke Women’s Basketball Shows Off Another Kobe 5 Protro PE
Quick Facts
- Duke Women’s Basketball showcased another Kobe PE
- This Kobe 5 Protro Duke PE is done in white and blue
- Unless you play for the Duke Women’s Basketball team, you definitely won’t be adding these to your collection

The battle to see who can bring out the best college sports PE sneakers is heating up. With college football in full swing and the Oregon Ducks blowing every school laced in Jordan 1s and 4s out of the water with its Grateful Dead collab uniforms and matching shoes, Duke is already leading the way on the basketball side of things. After breaking out a pair of blue and black Kobe 5 Protros with a Duke logo on the tongue, the Lady Blue Devils are back with even more Mamba heat.
A quick follow-up after showing off the blue pair of Protro 5s on the team's Instagram last week, Duke Women’s Basketball had to flex a little bit on the rest of the NCAA, circling back with a white and blue colorway to match the team’s home uniforms. Adding a fitting amount of devilish humor to the reveal, the Instagram post showing off the colorway was accompanied by the caption “We got’em in white too,” followed by the mischievous smiling devil emoji.
Reversing the blue and black colorway, the white and blue Kobe Protro 5 Duke PE features white across the toebox, side panels, and tongue, and Duke blue on the stabilization panels, midsole, and tongue logos, which once again feature the Duke “D” on the left shoe and the Kobe sheath logo on the right shoe.
Of course, unless you play for the Duke Women’s Basketball team, you definitely won’t be adding these to your collection, but who knows, maybe a player will hit the transfer portal next season and drop these on eBay…you can always dream.
