DTLR and New Balance, a dynamic pairing in the sneaker world, have repeatedly demonstrated their adeptness in creating memorable exclusives. This year, DTLR has meticulously curated and presented several iconic themes on classic and fresh silhouettes from the New Balance roster, notably the 9060. Their most recent venture captures the essence of active volcanos, evident in the fiery "Fire Sign" colorway of the 9060. This vibrant rendition follows their Glow rendition of the 9060.
The 9060 Fire Sign encapsulates the fierce and unpredictable nature of molten magma and active volcanos. Its construction marries suede and mesh materials, dominated by vibrant shades of reds, oranges, and silvers. Central to the design, a gradient pattern emerges, starting with a profound orangish-red at the center and gradually transitioning to a sun-kissed yellow towards the front and back. The suede overlays don a bold red, strikingly contrasting the metallic silver touches near the toe, heel, and the prominent "N" logo on the midfoot. Although the overall design radiates warmth, black elements on the heel counter, tongue, lace set, toebox, sockliner, and heel tab offer a grounding balance. The ensemble is completed with the distinct 9060 midsole, sprinkled with black speckles atop a white base in the heel area, complemented by a monochromatic black and white rubber outsole.
The DTLR Exclusive New Balance 9060 Fire Sign will release November 17, 2023, exclusively via DTLR online and in-store.
