Dating back to 2021, the Nike Air Force 1 Low Certified Lover Boy was initially a mystery. A collaboration with Drake to celebrate the release of his album of the same name, the sneaker was rumored on and off to be released. After people speculated production issues were the cause for the cancellation/delay, Drake’s iteration of the All White AF1 is officially on the way.
Coming in white and cobalt tint, the Nike Air Force 1 Low Certified Lover Boy features a premium, tumbled leather upper. Smooth leather can also be found via the collar lining, adding more luxe details. Drake’s NOCTA logo is prominently embroidered on the back of the left heel tab, with dual branding on the insoles. A nod to the Certified Lover Boy theme is found via the cursive Love You Forever script, replacing the traditional bold Air branding on the midsole, which makes its way onto the medial sides. A slightly modified rubber heart pattern replaces the classic stars on the outsole. Finishing things off is custom packaging and iced-out beads featuring letters and numbers you can add to your laces if you choose.
The Drake x Nike Air Force 1 Low Certified Lover Boy was originally released in December 2022. They restocked for the first time on November 24, 2023. A second restock is set for Holiday 2024 at Nike, via the SNKRS app, and at select retailers worldwide, both in-store and online.
