Do you know what they call a Quarter Pounder with Cheese in Canada? We’re not sure, but we’re guessing the bit from Pulp Fiction holds up, considering the metric system up there. That, or they’ve changed the name to the Champagne Papi with poutine fries. Hot off the heels of an expansive Chrome Hearts collab and an upcoming NOCTA Air Force 1 drop, Canada’s favorite rapper is expanding his partnership prowess to the world of fast food.
The OVO x McDonald’s Afters Meal is the latest celebrity collaboration from the Golden Arches, bringing Drake’s post-club meal of choice to Toronto Mickey D’s locations. According to screenshots posted to social media from McDonald’s locations in The Six, the Afters Meal promo includes a McDouble Afters Meal, a Junior Chicken Afters Meal, and a bright blue beverage called a Nite Sprite, that will presumably turn you into a soda-fueled robot in the recording booth.
In years past, McDonald’s has collaborated with Travis Scott, Cactus Plant Flea Market, and more on curated meals. In those past partnerships, select locations received collab uniforms, with the corresponding merch drops selling out instantly and turning up on resale sites for insanely inflated prices. As of now, no OVO x McDonald’s merch has been announced, but we wouldn’t be surprised to see it soon.
