Dr. Martens Launches Wednesday Addams-Inspired Collection of Boots

Jenna Ortega's iconic role as Wednesday Addams in the Netflix series Wednesday helped propel her fame to new heights, landing her an adidas deal in the process. While she’s team Three Stripes, Netflix and Wednesday have been tapped by Dr. Martens to give makeovers to seven different silhouettes as we enter spooky season.
If you’re unfamiliar with the show Wednesday, it’s based on the daughter from The Addams Family franchise. The Addams Family has been part of pop culture for nearly a century, with the old-money clan first appearing in The New Yorker back in 1938. The success of the comic strips spawned an influential television series in the ‘60s, a follow-up series in the late ‘90s, and two animated versions, one in 1973 and another in the early ‘90s. They also graced the silver screen in live action form with The Addams Family in 1991, Addams Family Values in 1993, and a direct-to-video movie Addams Family Reunion in 1998.
Across seven Dr. Martens silhouettes, including the Jadon, 1460, Elphie II, Buzz, 1461 Bex, Ramsey, and Corran, Wednesday Addams and the show’s aesthetic are translated onto the Mary Janes, boots, and balletcore designs. Spider-web graphics, inspired by the dorm room windows at Nevermore Academy, are incorporated on the Jadon, Buzz, and Corran models, while the Elphie II and 1461 Bex contain stripe graphics. Logos for the show are found debossed on the upper and on the purple-branded insole. The most direct nods to the show are on the 1461 Bex, containing lace dubraes with the phrase “Snap Twice” and white text on the lateral heel “OUTCASTS ARE IN.”
The Wednesday x Dr. Martens Collection was released today, October 8, 2025 through Dr. Martens online. Available in unisex sizing, the retail price ranges between $150 and $210 depending on the silhouette.
