Over the last day, we’ve got plenty of looks at Disney x adidas Stan Smith colorways that bring various fictional characters to life, including Dr. Doom, Cruella, and Kermit The Frog. Now bringing us to Disney's The Little Mermaid universe, Ursula the Sea Witch is making an appearance on the humble silhouette.
Borrowing the color palette of the character herself, the synthetic leather upper gets covered in all-black with shades of purple landing on the sockliner and heel. Standard Stan Smith details remain with perforations making up the Three Stripes logo and a portrait of Smith appearing on the top of the tongue of the right sneaker, though on the left sneaker, Ursula’s portrait is present. Another appearance by the Sea Witch comes via the right sneakers insole alongside co-branding between adidas and Disney. Back on the heel, the phrase that has made its way onto all recent Disney x adidas Stan Smith colorways, “It not easy being green,” is split between both lilac-shaded heel tabs. Rounding out the look is the black-on-black rubber midsole and outsole.
The Disney x adidas Stan Smith Ursula is slated to release in 2022 through adidas and select retailers online and in-store. Coming in men’s sizing, the retail price is set at $130.
