In 2021, adidas took many of Disney’s iconic characters and transformed them into sneaker history. To start off 2022 right, adidas is converting the iconic deer Bambi into a Stan Smith. These kicks features a simple white upper with hits of deer spots on the tongue and around the heel. A mauve hit alongside the upper eyelet represents the ear of a deer. The insoles of the sneaker showcase the cell drawing animation process Disney used in the creation of the iconic 1942 film.
With this release, adidas is continuing their push to end plastic waste with a recycled cardboard box that features a drawing of Bambi from the film. Included in the box are custom keychains representing the collaboration in full.
The Disney x adidas Stan Smith Bambi is set to be released in 2022. It will launch at adidas as well as select adidas Originals retailers in-store and online.
