For the last century, some of the greatest works of children's fiction have come to us courtesy of The Walt Disney Company as well as some of the greatest amusement parks in existence. To help celebrate the company’s 100th birthday, long-time partners adidas have crafted a commemorative colorway of the adidas Ultraboost 1.0 that has already appeared as a women’s exclusive, however, a second men’s version has just emerged.
Coming almost identical to the aforementioned women’s pair, this version of the Disney x adidas Ultraboost 1.0 “100th Anniversary” comes dressed in a white Primeknit upper with silver, black, and red hits being featured throughout. Silver leather takes over the mudguard, tongue, and parts of the side cage while the white Primeknit upper gets a slight redesign to include the infamous Mickey Mouse on the toebox. More special details, like the commemorative “Disney 100” atop the tongue and a custom insole, pay homage to the magic Disney has brought us over the last century. Along the midfoot, the Three Stripes logo comes mainly in black with it partially coming in red. Finishing the upper is the silver hits along the heel overlays and collar while the entire sneaker comes complete with a white Boost midsole and black/red Continental rubber outsole.
The Disney x adidas Ultraboost 1.0 100th Anniversary is set to release on January 1st, 2023 through adidas and select retailers online and in-store. Coming in men’s sizing, the retail price is set at $210.
