The skateboarding scene in Montreal wouldn’t be the same without Dime MTL, a local skate shop that offers much more than just gear for your board. Full apparel capsules come via the label and range from graphic print tees to more classy oxford shirts, though all come with that grungy skate aesthetic built in. Outside of their inline releases, the brand has also worked with others in the scene over the years, and now for the first time since 2015, will get their chance to work with Vans on a collaborative Half Cab colorway.
Monochromatic beige suede takes over the entire upper with Dime MTL making an appearance all throughout the design. Tonal laces run up towards the solo Vans branded tongue tag while the Montreal label appears on a suede hangtag and back on the heel thanks to its debossed logo. A black sockliner creates contrast while the insole goes back to its beige tones alongside Vans and Dime MTL graphics. Underfoot, a blacked-out rubber midsole is paired with a semi-translucent rubber outsole that houses Dime MTL’s logo just beneath.
The Dime MTL x Vans Half Cab is set to release on September 17th, 2022 through Dime MTL online and in-store while a wider release through Vans and select retailers will go down on September 22nd.
