Dick's Sporting Goods National Runners Month

Marathon season is in full swing. The Tokyo Marathon took place at the start of March, and we have two more major events taking place before the end of April, including the Boston Marathon on the 20th and London’s on the 26th. Before these marathons take place, Dick’s Sporting Goods is dropping some exclusive Nike Running gear as part of its yearly National Runners Month celebrations.

Technically, National Runners Month for DSG doesn’t start until May, but the four pairs of Nike Running shoes are available now. Included are pairs of the Vomero Plus and Vomero 18, one colorway of each for the men and one of each for the ladies. The men’s pairs feature a white upper with a gradient red and blue color scheme found on the sole unit. For the women, they use a similar white base, but lighter tones of pink, sky blue, and purple are found.

Of course, the models not only look great but also perform on the track or road. The Vomero Plus uses a full-length ZoomX foam midsole for a softer and more responsive ride compared to the standard Vomero 18. This equates to roughly 85% energy return, making it a solid choice for long runs. Don’t forget about the Vomero 18, though, as it uses a combo of ZoomX throughout the sole unit and ReactX in the heel and forefoot for a dual-density finish. You really can’t go wrong with either one.
