Though the model's rollout was criticized by many for the overwhelming amount of PEs that Booker previewed before the sneaker had a global launch, the model has seen solid success from fans and ballers who can appreciate the lifestyle approach infused with performance technology.
Booker has again shown up to the Suns game in a PE version of the sneaker, now taking inspiration from the iconic Nike Cortez Forrest Gump wore in the movie. The timing couldn’t be perfect for Booker to rock this specific PE as Nike brought back the Nike Cortez Forrest Gump in May, returning for the first time since 2021. Previously, Book has taken inspiration from various classic Nike sneakers and their colorways for PEs, aiding the model's lifestyle and retro design language that Booker described as a "future classic."
