Jordan Brand may have had its start in performance basketball but they continue to add players from other sports to their roster. When it comes to American Football, some of the top players like Stefon Diggs, Jarvis Landry, and Davante Adams represent the legacy of Jordan Brand on the field, though now a new player has joined the roster. After putting up a monster first four weeks in the 2022 NFL season, Deebo Samuel is now a member of the Jordan Brand family.
When asked about his recent signing, Samuel said, “To me, it’s surreal and truly special to hear I’m joining the family. As a kid, all I wanted were J’s. Being a part of the Jordan Brand is something I’ve always wanted, and for it to be a reality is special to me. It’s a dream come true to be a Jordan Brand athlete and help carry this legacy forward to the next generation on and off the field.” He continued, “I’m looking forward to inspiring the young football players and young kids out there who want to create greatness in their own way.”
Fresh off his signing, Samuel was spotted on the field rocking a custom pair of Nike Vapor Edge 360 Pro cleats that mimic the iconic Air Jordan 1 Low “Dior.” Going forward, expect to see Deebo catching passes rocking Jordan Brand gloves, cleats, and accessories as well as receiving upcoming releases to wear off the field.
