Nike SB skater Dashawn Jordan is putting on for The Valley with his upcoming Nike SB Dunk Low Home Is Where the Heart Is. The sneaker celebrating his Arizona roots has been a long time in the making, with the skater talking about his plans for an Arizona Diamondbacks-themed sneaker as far back as 2020.
“I’ve had that colorway on a PDF file for the past five years, and we only started working on the Dunk colorway two years ago,” the April Skateboard pro told Sole Retriever.
Finally, those dreams are coming to fruition as official images of the serpentine silhouette ahead of the sneaker’s release this month. The sneaker draws from the Diamondbacks’ 2001 World Series hats, interpolating the team’s iconic color scheme and snakeskin throughout the model. With this pair’s celebratory makeup, this would be a perfect sneaker for 2001 World Series MVP and renowned sneakerhead, Randy Johnson.
The base of the sneaker is comprised of smooth black suede underlays to properly contrast the eye-catching snakeskin overlays that dominate the sneaker’s design. Dashawn was methodical with the use of color on the model, as a burst of purple graces the sockliner and the Nike branding on the heel. Teal is used sparingly on the Nike SB branding on the tongue and heel tab, while a shade of dark blue outlines the Swooshes on both sides.

Additional details include a diamond-shaped snake tag found on the inside tongue, and Dashawn Jordan-branded insoles with coiled snake graphics. Satisfyingly solidifying the colorway are copperhead snake lace charms.
The Dashawn Jordan x Nike SB Dunk Low Home Is Where The Heart Is will release on March 14, 2026, through Nike SNKRS and select skate shops with Nike SB accounts. Available in men’s sizing, the retail price is set at $135. Download the Sole Retriever mobile app to stay updated on the latest releases, raffles, news, and more in the sneaker and streetwear world.
