COMME des GARÇONS HOMME PLUS Brings Back the Nike Air Max Dolce in 2026

With mules, loafers, and slip-ons the trend, alongside early 00s designs, every brand wants to jump in on these trends. From fashion to footwear, these trends have been seen from Nike, New Balance, Birkenstock, UGG, and more. In addition, fashion brands and retailers like Basketcase, Kith, and COMME des GARÇONS have joined in on the action, partnering with footwear labels to blend the two elements.
During Paris Fashion Week, every brand put forth its best runway shows, highlighting what's to come for fashion in early 2026. COMME des GARÇONS HOMME PLUS imprint has just unveiled its latest collaboration with Nike, digging into the archives to bring back a 20+-year-old forgotten silhouette. The sneaker in question is the Nike Air Max Dolce, which debuted in 2002.
The Nike Air Max Dolce is a perfect example of a shoe that would've most likely been forgotten about in the archives had trends not been what they are. Modeled after an Italian dress shoe, this laceless Air Max runner was ahead of its time. In fact, most people probably have never heard of it.

Well, all that is about to change, as COMME des GARÇONS HOMME PLUS is bringing forth a trio of colorways as a part of their Spring/Summer 2026 campaign. Coming in all-black, all-white, and white/black, the sneaker is simplistic in its design. All three pairs keep the OG slip-on, shrouded design intact, with rigid detailing throughout.
Max Air cushioning rests above a solid rubber outsole in the heel. Patent leather runs down the shroud of each pair, furthering the dress shoe look. Dual branding on the tongue and insoles finish each pair off. Expect this collection to come in special packaging as well.
The COMME des GARÇONS HOMME PLUS x Nike Air Max Dolce Pack is set to release in 2026. Look out for them via CDG, DSM, Nike, and possibly select retailers.
