The Collina Strada x Puma Collection Releases July 2024

Collina Strada, led by visionary designer Hillary Taymour, has partnered with Puma to introduce a fresh footwear collection. Collina Strada, known for its bold and forward-thinking approach to fashion, brings a unique aesthetic to Puma's athletic foundation. Initially teased during Collina Strada's Fall/Winter runway show in February, the collection marries the brand's playful and environmentally conscious ethos with Puma's iconic sportswear heritage.

The collection features innovative takes on Puma's Velophasis and Suede XL models. Each piece reflects the distinctive flair of Collina Strada, seen through vibrant colors, textures, and materials. The Velophasis is reimagined in two colorways: a striking Yellow and a sleek Black. These versions stand out with their frilly ruffled material, adorning the floral-shaped leather vamp and introducing a bungee lacing system that adds functionality and style. Collina Strada's branding is subtly placed on the heel tab and insole, while the sneaker's sole unit is given a deliberately distressed look, lending a sense of lived-in comfort and vintage appeal.

In contrast, the Puma Suede XL undergoes a transformative redesign with a blend of purple and blue, enhanced by a captivating tie-dye effect that spans the entire felt upper. Thick ribbon laces match the sneaker's color scheme, and co-branded logos in metallic silver add a touch of luxury to the tongue tag. The design is completed with a tonal rubber midsole and outsole, ensuring that the sneaker is as functional as it is fashionable. Alongside this blue pair, the sneaker also comes in a vintage black colorway.

The Collina Strada x Puma Collection W will release July 19, 2024, through Puma, Collina Strada's website, and select retailers. Available in women's sizing, the retail price is set at $100 for the Suede XL and $140 for the Velophasis.
