The Cav Empt x Nike Air Max DN8 Collection Releases Fall 2025

In 2011, Toby Feltwell and Sk8thing, two veterans of the streetwear world who previously worked with NIGO and Pharrell on BAPE, Billionaire Boys Club, and ICECREAM, came together with graphic designer Hishiyama Yutaka to create Cav Empt. The brand, whose name is a play on the Latin phrase caveat emptor (let the buyer beware), has exponentially grown in the last decade-plus, collaborating with giants in the industry and developing its own solid following. Now, the brand has been tapped by Nike to work on a three-pack of Nike Air Max DN8 colorways.

Cav Empt is no stranger to The Swoosh or the Air Max family, previously working with the sportswear giant on a three-pack of Nike Air Max 95s in 2019. For this new project, CE brings its signature digital camo aesthetic to the Air Max DN8, Nike’s latest entry in the Dynamic Air family. Three different color schemes are seen on models in the brand’s Fall/Winter 2025 lookbook, including Dark Grey, Silver Lilac, and White Neptune Green.

Each pair features the traditional Air Max DN8 build with mesh and Nexkin mesh uppers, a TPU heel clip, and slash details on the midfoot. These three makeovers, courtesy of Cav Empt, come in tonal color palettes, with accents applied to the co-branded tongue tag and on the heel with the Dynamic Air logo. The only pair with any notable accents on the digital camo print applied to both the upper and sole unit is the White Neptune Green colorway, which takes the secondary hue and coats the pattern in this teal-ish green shade.

The Cav Empt x Nike Air Max DN8 Collection will release in the coming months by Cav Empt and possibly via Nike SNKRS and select retailers online and in-store.
