The games of golf and basketball are more intertwined than you’d think. Chalk it up to Michael Jordan’s affinity for both sports, or just the rich-blooded nature of golf meeting professional basketball players who have an influx of cash. Well, it’s probably the relaxing nature of golf compared to the intensity of an on-court battle, but that’s beside the point. Stars from the WNBA and NBA are constantly spotted on the front and back nine, like Caitlin Clark, who just played at the LPGA’s Annika Pro-Am event alongside other WNBA and LPGA stars. Prior to her 8:30 AM tee time, which featured guest caddie spots from Indiana Fever teammates Lexie Hull and Sophie Cunningham, Clark spoke to reporters about her very own Nike Golf player-exclusive sneaker.

Clark was giving a breakdown of her fit, which included a custom Nike Golf polo with her CC monogram logo on the shoulder, a white T-shirt with the same CC logo, and a collab pair of golf shoes. The sneakers in particular were the recently released Eastside Golf x Nike Victory Tour 4. However, Clark mentions that her new Nike Golf PEs are “a work in progress, I need them to be perfect.”

Last year, she was spotted at the Annika Pro-Am rocking two player-exclusive pairs of the Nike Infinity Tour 2, one in a rosy pink with gold accents and another featuring a tie-dye upper. She played last year’s event alongside Nelly Korda, who she met up with post-play yesterday to reveal Nelly’s upcoming Nike Free Golf PE that is dropping later this month.

Caitlin just dropped her latest Nike Basketball player-exclusive with the release of the Nike Kobe 6 Protro Light Armory Blue, and she’s expected to have another PE, the Kobe 5 Protro Rookie of the Year, release in 2026. We’re all still waiting on a first glimpse at her signature Nike Basketball shoe, but maybe we’ll get first looks at her latest Nike Golf PE first.
