Cactus Plant Flea Market has made a name for itself in the fashion industry thanks to its eclectic and unorthodox design language, working with the likes of Kid Cudi, Ye (FKA Kanye West), and various brands in different industries. We’ve been teased for months in regards to their latest Nike footwear collaboration, the CPFM x Nike Flea 1 (also seen in an “Overgrown” variation), but it seems the duo has more they’ve been cooking up. Recently announced by both Nike and the Cynthia Lui-founded label, the latest CPFM x Nike Apparel Collection has been revealed.
Comprised of 6 pieces, a modernist lens mixed with archival Nike products and bootlegs brings us an eclectic collection featuring a fishing-inspired Jacket, Polo, 1/4-Zip Top, Waffle Pants, Fleece Crew, and Grass Blanket. For the Jacket, a water-repellent fabric is utilized with an array of pockets ready for your next outdoor adventure, featuring a large foam Swoosh key chain and adjustable cuffs. On the Polo you’ll find a mix of navy and volt green with co-branded CPFM and Nike details visible on both the front and back of the airy mesh. In-your-face branding details make their mark on the 1/4-Zip Top that comes with a fleece construction. Arguably the most eyebrow-raising piece, the Fleece Crew looks pretty standard with large CPFM and Nike branding on the sleeves and a puffy “Nike” graphic on the chest, though the extra large sock sewn across the chest acts as a functional pocket. Like many CPFM pieces, puff print is present on the Waffle Pants, seen in a Waffle House-like color scheme of black and yellow with silver co-branding details around the calves. Finally, when you’re ready to hit the hay you can snuggle up in the Grass Blanket, covered in fleece and “CPFM Air” branding.
The CPFM x Nike Apparel Collection is set to release on October 25th, 2022 through cpfm.xyz while a Nike SNKRS launch is slated for October 27th, 2022.
