BSTN Honors European Basketball With adidas

BSTN, the European retailer headquartered in Hamburg, Germany, is looking to expand their European Basketball Heritage series with the help of a retro adidas silhouette popular on the continent. Taking inspiration from the Euroleague’s Panathinaikos B.C. and Croatian team Jugoplastika Split, BSTN dresses an adidas Forum ‘84 Low and Forum ‘84 High in vintage colors.
On the low-top silhouette, Panathinaikos B.C. is brought to life with the white suede, nubuck, and leather upper and green accents along the collar and lockdown strap. The team's logo makes an appearance just beneath the collar on the lateral side, embossed into the leather overlay. For an even more direct hit, the lockdown strap features the team's name written in Greek. Atop the tongue, BSTN and adidas text are displayed on the left and right pair respectively. Placed on the insole is a graphic displaying a tri-branded BSTN, adidas, and Panathinaikos B.C. graphic. Finishing off the look is a white midsole set to a grey rubber outsole.
For Croatia’s Jugoplastika Split, aka KK Split, BSTN transforms the adidas Forum ‘84 High into a trifecta of yellow, black, and white. A combo of leather and suede is utilized across the upper with black hits appearing on the tongue, collar, Three Stripes, and along the heel. Hits of yellow don both the piping around the tongue and heel overlay. As for the rest of the upper, white is the color of choice. Details nodding to KK Split are placed near the collar with the team's name written, and on the heel tab with the “89” and “90” representing their championship in the EuroLeague. Rounding out the look is the white midsole paired with a gum rubber outsole.
The BSTN x adidas Forum ‘84 Low Panathinaikos is set to release on May 7th, 2022 via adidas Confirmed and BSTN with a global release taking place one week later on May 14th. The BSTN x adidas Forum ‘84 High Jugoplastika is set to release on May 21st, 2022 through adidas Confirmed and BSTN with a global release on May 28th. Coming in unisex sizing, the retail price for the low-top is set at $120 while the high-top will be priced at $160.
