Bronny James Debuts New Personal Nike Logo

Being the prince has its perks. Bronny James was born into a Nike family, and now that he’s a member of the Los Angeles Lakers, The Swoosh is showing out for LeBron Jr., adding a new custom logo to his PE pairs. Combining a lowercase “b” with Bronny’s jersey number, 9, Bronny is the latest Nike athlete to get his own personal logo.

During the Lakers’ game against the Cleveland Cavaliers on Wednesday, Bronny laced up a pair of pink PE Nike LeBron Witness 9 with a new graphic on the back. Starting with a spiky black lowercase “b,” the number 9 is added in the middle, serving as the hole in the “b.” For obvious reasons, the brand shied away from adding “BJ” to the shoe.

To debut the logo, Bronny broke out a PE pair of the Nike Witness 9 in monochrome pink with a double-stacked backwards black and white Swooshes on the lateral side and his dad’s iconic crown logo, adding more pink to the midsole. What do you think, is Bronny worthy of his own sneaker logo?

Bronny has been going back and forth between the NBA and the G League this year, so no matter his family’s relationship with Nike, any possible chance he has at a signature shoe is still years and leaps in ability away, but the PE logo is certainly a start.
