Tuesday night’s MLB All-Star Game was a hometown affair for the Philadelphia fans in attendance. The Phils represented a major section of the NL squad’s starting lineup, including starting pitcher Christopher Sanchez and Home Run Derby runner-up Kyle Schwarber, but more than that, the fanfare was all Philly-focused. Local youth players biked onto the field in the seventh, Patti LaBelle sang the national anthem, and in the fifth inning’s Stand Up to Cancer ceremony, local heroes Boyz II Men took the field looking fresher than ever.

Boyz II Men took the field at Citizens Bank Park in textured pairs of PE Air Jordan 11s with white leather where the patent paneling typically sits and a one-piece sleek black fabric on the rest of the upper. Of course, in classic Air Jordan 11 fashion, the sole is as icy as possible in a mix of clear and cold blue.

In a post showing off the shoes from the performance, Easy Otabor tells the story of Jordan and Tinker Hatfield’s disagreement on the possibilities for the Air Jordan 11’s success in off-court fashion. Once Boyz II Men put on pairs of Concord 11s with tuxedos at the 1996 Grammys, though, the conversation was over.

Is the Air Jordan 11 Boyz II Men PE Releasing?

We’ve only seen the black and white tuxedo two-tone Air Jordan 11 Boyz II Men PE on the infield grass and on Instagram, so there’s no word yet on whether we’ll see the pairs arrive at retail in the future.
