Celebrating the rich lineage of adidas and the artistic vigor of Macklemore's Bogey Boys, a stellar golf collaboration is on the horizon. Reimagining classic styles from the '70s and '80s golf scene, this collection promises a fresh perspective for both on and off-course fashion.
The star of the show is undoubtedly the adidas MC80 spikeless golf sneaker. Debuting via the collaboration with Bogey Boys, the silhouette boasts an all-white premium leather upper with brogue stitch detail. Croc texturing throughout the midsole delivers a sophisticated finish, further enhanced by a leather sockliner and lining. adidas' hallmark TORSION bar and concealed BOOST cushioning in the heel ensure unmatched comfort and stability. The adidas Trefoil and Bogey Boys logos round off the design, nestled on a removable kiltie and the back of the heel. Inline colorways of the sneaker will launch later in the year.
Drawing inspiration from iconic adidas Originals silhouettes, the apparel portion marries classic sportswear designs with high-quality performance materials. The capsule includes apparel and footwear for men and women in polished white, altered blue, and collegiate green colorways. Key pieces like the four-button placket polos, terry cloth tracksuits, and the v-neck sweater vest look to the sporty fashion eras of the past, updated with a modern twist.
The apparel line is incomplete without its standout piece, the "Welcome to the Clubhouse" graphic tee. Characters adorned in elements from the collection sketched by Macklemore and the adidas team add personal charm to the item.
The Bogey Boys x adidas Golf Collection will release June 14 through adidas, Bogey Boys, and select retailers online and in-store. The sneakers are priced at $220, with apparel and accessories ranging between $30 for gloves to $550 for the tote bag. Shirts, jackets, pants, and vests range between $90 and $150.
