Maybe a little help from Black Panther can help him this season as his signature silhouette with adidas, the Mahomes 1 Impact FLX is getting a tribute colorway to the iconic Marvel character played by the late Chadwick Boseman.
All-black hues cover the majority of the football training sneaker while regal hits of gold and purple, alongside the textured overlays, help mimic the suit of Black Panther himself. Ripstop overlays appear on the toebox and collar while the tongue partakes in mesh with a golden logo representing Killmonger’s suit. Further golden accents are visible along the midfoot's Three Stripe outline while the rest of the upper, including the insole and sockliner, continue the all-black theme. Underfoot a wavy black midsole is paired with a purple and black rubber outsole.
The Black Panther x adidas Mahomes 1 Impact FLX is set to release on September 30th, 2022, through adidas and select retailers online and in-store.
