The Black Forest x Puma Velophasis Into Nature Releases October 2023

Puma's legacy, rooted deep in Germany, has seen numerous collaborations across continents. However, this time, the Herzogenaurach-based sportswear label turns its focus homeward, joining forces with the Black Forest Tourism Board. The partnership celebrates Germany's breathtaking natural landscapes, particularly the iconic Black Forest, a testament to the country's rich natural heritage. This local union breathes life into the Puma Velophasis, presenting an offering that beautifully intertwines German culture, nature, and fashion.

The Puma Velophasis, inspired by the Y2K aesthetic, is a black and grassy green symphony. While the latter illuminates the mesh base, Puma branding on the tongue, and the lace set, the stark black hue dominates the leather and TPU overlays. Further black detailing is evident on the tongue and sockliner, contrasting the verdant green. The underfoot boasts a distressed foam midsole adorned with varying green tones and a robust black rubber outsole. But the collaboration doesn't stop at the sneakers. The packaging pays homage to the enchanting Black Forest with an illustrative graphic of a secluded cabin amidst the woods. Accompanying the sneakers, purchasers will be treated to a Black Forest map and an environmentally-conscious tree planting kit, complete with seeds, soil, and nourishment, allowing them to cultivate a tree native to this majestic forest.

The Black Forest x Puma Velophasis Into Nature will release October 7, 2023, via Puma, select EU retailers both online and in-store, and via the Black Forest Tourism Board.
