After writing and recording songs in her bedroom with her brother by her side, Billie Eilish ascended to superstar status, becoming both a musical and fashion icon to her millions of fans worldwide. Her unique style choice has made its way to her collaborative efforts with The Swoosh and Jordan Brand, releasing unique takes on classic silhouettes from the Air Jordan 15 to her strap-covered AF1 High. Now Eilish is getting her shot at reworking the AF1 Low, borrowing the same color palette as her recently revealed Sequoia-shaded AF1 High.
Covered completely in tonal sequoia greens, the silhouette utilizes a patchwork construction of suede and canvas across the upper. Separating the various panels is a criss-cross stitching design, found near the toebox, midfoot, and heel panels while the rest of the sneaker features a diamond-shaped quilt-like design. Tonal hits of green make their way on the tongue and lace set while the tongue tag, sockliner, and insole continue this monochromatic look. Along the midfoot, the Nike Swoosh takes on the suede construction seen on the patchwork details sprinkled throughout, keeping the sequoia theme alive. Rounding everything out is a darker-toned green AF1 midsole and rubber outsole.
The Billie Eilish x Nike Air Force 1 Low Sequoia is slated to release in December 2022 through Nike and select NSW retailers online and in-store. Coming in men’s sizing, the retail price is $140.
