Some of the best sneaker releases so far dropped in March. From classic silhouettes to bold new designs, March had something for everyone.
Kicking off the month we saw A Ma Maniere finally release their Air Jordan 12 Pack that had been teased for months. Jordan Brand didn’t stop there, either. Taking us all back to 1987, the Air Jordan 3 Reimagined “White Cement” hit shelves and sold out almost as soon as they were put up for sale. On top of this, Nike SB and Jordan Brand teamed back up, this time on the Air Jordan 4.
Heading to Nike Sportswear, the label teamed up with Supreme, Tiffany, and Corteiz on the Air Bakin, Air Force 1, and Air Max 95, respectively. All three of these came perfectly executed to match each collaborator's design language and were some of the highlights of the month of March.
Don’t forget the slew of Air Max models that were released this month as March is home to “Air Max Day.” Alongside the Premium renditions of “Corduory Blue” and “Shima Shima,” NSW dropped the Air Max 1 ‘86 OG “Sport Red” which called back to the original “Big Bubble” design that was quickly pulled off shelves in 1987. This marked the first time this design has returned.

Nike Air Ship SP "Pine Green"
Originally rocked by MJ prior to the introduction of the Air Jordan line, the Nike Air Ship has forever held a place in the history of Jordan Brand. Throughout the last year or so we’ve seen various two-tone colorways hit shelves and March 2023 featured a clean “Pine Green” color scheme. While no solid Nike release occurred, we saw plenty of retailers across the globe drop this pair.
A Ma Maniere x Air Jordan 12 Pack
Continuing the partnership between A Ma Maniere and Jordan Brand, the duo crafted a two-pack of Air Jordan 12 colorways that fit right in with previous AMM x JB releases. Burgundy Crush acted as the accenting colors for both the “White” and “Black” pairs of the model which featured premium materials and co-branded details. No doubt one of the hottest releases for March 2023.
Supreme x Nike Air Bakin Pack
A silhouette that fell to the wayside, the Nike Air Bakin saw a return with help from everyone’s favorite streetwear label Supreme in March 2023. Coming in two colorways, one “White Amarillo” and a “Black Multi-Color,” the archival silhouette shines thanks to these combinations of neutral shades and vibrant hues.
New Balance 576 Made In UK "35th Anniversary" Pack
Serving as the origin for the ever-popular New Balance 574, the Steven Smith-designed New Balance 576 is the beefier, more premium version of this low-cut design. Celebrating its 35th Anniversary in 2023, New Balance crafted an ultra-premium iteration of the model in two colorways in Flimby, England to honor the model’s birthday.
New Balance 996 Made In USA By Teddy Santis "Navy"
Fitting right into his Season 2 Collection with New Balance’s Made In USA line, Teddy Santis revived the Made In USA 996 to kick off March 2023. First released on Aime Leon Dore, we quickly saw a wider global release through New Balance and select retailers on March 3rd, 2023.
Nike Air Foamposite One "Dream A World" Pack
While not overtly stated, Nike allowed James Whitner to help design the latest colorways of the Nike Air Foamposite One that came as a part of the “Dream A World” Pack. Seen in “Grey” and “Black” colorways, the model’s paint stroke-like design and inspirational backstory make this a unique take on the 90s basketball model. A great way to kickstart 2023’s revival of the classic Air Foamposite One.
Air Jordan 5 "UNC"
Michael Jordan’s alma mater, the University of North Carolina, has served as inspiration for countless Nike and Jordan releases over the years. Though not exactly like the highly-coveted PE version, the Air Jordan 5 “UNC” launched in March 2023 to much fanfare.
Tiffany x Nike Air Force 1 Low "1837"
A legendary collaboration, Nike and famed NYC-based jeweler Tiffany & Co. officially teamed up on a publicly available sneaker via the Air Force 1 Low silhouette. Crafted out of premium suede and leather, the all-black appearance with a hit of Tiffany Blue on the Swoosh logo and the inclusion of sterling silver on the heel caused many to drop the $400 retail price on this sneaker.
Nike Air Max 97 "Gold Bullet"
Though not exactly an OG colorway on the Air Max 97, the “Golden Bullet” made a return in 2023 that plays directly into the theme of the original “Silver Bullet” release from 1997. Surely a pair that will turn heads with its metallic gold appearance throughout the entire upper.
Nike Dunk Low "Reverse Brazil"
Officially dubbed the BTTYS “Oregon” colorway, this Nike Dunk Lows close resemblance to the fan favorite “Brazil” caused many to name this the “Reverse Brazil” colorway. Since it so closely mimics the famous colorway, many were hyped up for its release through Nike that occurred in March (even if retailers released the pair back in February).
Nike Air Max 1 "Shima Shima"
Reworking a classic Japanese exclusive from 2001, Nike brought back the “Shima Shima” theme in 2023 on the Air Max 1 with changes made compared to the original. Premium leathers in earthy hues alongside the Shima Shima pattern on the sockliner graced this revival that was released in March.
Kith x New Balance 993 Made In USA "Spring 101"
Kith and New Balance never seem to miss and the duo’s 993 Made In USA that mimicked the color palette of Kith’s Spring 101 collection only adds to the list of hit collaborations. An ultra-limited release took place exclusively through Kith in the early parts of March 2023.
Air Jordan 3 Reimagined "White Cement"
A classic making a return after a 2018 retro, the Air Jordan 3 “White Cement” hit shelves through the lens of Jordan Brand’s “Reimagined” series on March 11th, 2023. Aged details on the sneaker itself and the box bring one back to the original release year (1987) of the Air Jordan 3. Those who are just getting into sneakers or OG heads need to have this pair in the collection as its historical significance in sneaker culture cannot be understated.
Nike Air Max 1 Premium Corduroy "Baltic Blue"
The first thought for many when they hear “corduroy Air Max” is the classic Sean Wotherspoon collaboration, however, Nike took the liberty of dressing the model in the workwear material themselves in March 2023. Covered entirely in “Baltic Blue,” this version of the Air Max 1 is sure to turn heads with its vibrant and unique appearance.
Action Bronson x New Balance 996 "Baklava"
Action Bronson, the multi-faced rapper, TV host, and entertainer, ditched his Three Stripes and headed to Boston’s very own New Balance to collaborate on the New Balance 990v6. Taking premium materials mixed between earthy hues and vibrant shades, Bronson made the dad shoe pop amongst the greyscale color palettes we are used to seeing from NB.
Nike SB x Air Jordan 4 Retro SP "Sail Pine Green"
March marked the first collaboration between Nike SB and Jordan Brand on the Air Jordan 4 with the highly anticipated “Sail Pine Green” colorway hitting skate shops, Nike SNKRS, and Jordan Brand retailers worldwide. A refined shape, retooled sole, changed materials, and supple build make this the best AJ 4 to hit the skate park. Not only are these solid for your board but for the streets as well as their clean appearance and comfortable build will make rocking these all day a breeze.
Corteiz x Nike Air Max 95 "Sequoia" And "Pink Beam"
Clint, the UK-based designer and founder of Corteiz, teamed up with Nike on the Air Max 95 (or the “One Ten” if you hail from the UK as well). While there are three colorways comprising the Corteiz x Air Max 95 collection, the “Sequoia” and “Pink Beam” pair dropped in March 2023. On top of an online release through Corteiz’s website, Clint made sure to bring some extra hype by releasing the “Pink Beam” colorway in NYC at a pop-up that took place inside a local corner store.
Nike Air Zoom Generation "1st Game"
LeBron James may be on his 20th iteration of the Nike LeBron series, but wouldn’t this be the best time to celebrate the rich history of the partnership? Well, Nike thought so and dug into the archives to revive the Nike Air Zoom Generation. Released first in its “1st Game” colorway (the same colorway rocked by LeBron in his first home game in 2003), we can expect a series of color schemes to hit shelves in 2023.
Ronnie Fieg x Clarks 8th Street x adidas Samba Pack
Always having a keen eye for design and collaboration, Ronnie Fieg was able to partner up with adidas through his collaborative “Clarks 8th Street” initiative and combine Clarks’ iconic Crepe sole with the ever-popular adidas Samba. Released in three colorways, the demand for the three-pack was so high that Fieg and co. offered pre-orders on the sneakers once the raffle winners from the Kith-exclusive release scooped up the pairs. Puma MB.01 "Digital Camo" PE
Coming as a shock to many sneakerheads, Puma had one of the hottest basketball silhouettes once its signature line with LaMelo Ball hit shelves in 2021. Throughout the 2021-2022 NBA season, Melo sported a slew of PE colorways that are now seeing retail releases thanks to Puma’s “Rare Reserve” program. The first of many in this program is the “Digital Camo” colorway of the Puma MB.01.
Fly Streetwear x Nike SB Dunk Low "Gardenia"
Hailing from China, Fly Streetwear has been working with Nike for nearly two decades at this point with the latest linkup finally tackling the Nike SB Dunk Low. Taking inspiration from flowers sold in local markets near Fly Streetwear’s founder Jeff Han’s childhood home and his memories skating through the market, the pair finally released on March 25th, 2023 to instant sellout online and in-store.
Nike Air Max 1 '86 OG "Sport Red"
The big event for Air Max Day 2023, Nike finally revived the original design of the Air Max 1 with its “Big Bubble” variant hitting shelves on March 26th, 2023. Scrapped back in 1987 due to quality control issues with the bubble not being able to withstand colder environments, Nike Air technology has advanced leaps and bounds and can now comfortably (and safely) be rocked in all climates.
Salomon XT-6 "10th Anniversary"
With the gorpcore trend as strong as ever, Salomon continues to reign supreme in the footwear side of this fashion style. Even though their XT-6 became popular in the last few years outside of the trails, it's introduction in 2013 was celebrated on March 28th, 2023 with an ultra-limited prototype-Esque colorway. Numbered out of 804 pairs, this all-red look features accenting hits of white and custom branding. One of the most hyped up Salomon's to release thus far.
