We are entering the final weeks of 2025. That means the holidays are just around the corner, you’ll be cozied up with family, and sneaker brands are dropping the last bit of heat left in the stock room. Clearly the front-runner for most anticipated drops is the retro of the Air Jordan 11 Gamma, which returns for the first time since its OG drop in 2013. But there are plenty of other drops to be on the lookout for, and JD Sports is the place to cop.
Aside from the Gamma 11s, JD Sports will be releasing the latest colorway of Anthony Edwards’ signature sneaker with adidas, the AE 2, in the Alphadawg colorway, Ken Griffey Jr.’s Air Griffey Max 1 in the Emerald colorway, and the Jordan 8 Retro Bugs Bunny.
Below we’ve included release dates and STATUS Exclusive Access info (if applicable) for each of the sneakers dropping at JD Sports for the month of December.
adidas AE 2 Alphadawg
The latest rendition of the adidas AE 2 is a clear homage to the Minnesota Timberwolves, as the Alphadawg colorway is done in a clean white, black, and blue combination to match the Wolves' uniforms. The pair will be released on December 6th in men’s and GS sizing for $130 and $100, respectively.
Nike Air Griffey Max 1 Emerald
It’s been four years since the Nike Air Griffey Max 1 Emerald last hit shelves, but we won’t have to wait long for a shot at another pair. The Swoosh is bringing back this OG Ken Griffey Jr. sneaker on December 12th for $180 in adult sizes.
Air Jordan 11 Retro Gamma

As mentioned above, the Air Jordan 11 Gamma is probably the most sought-after sneaker dropping in December. Jordan Brand is finally bringing back this non-OG AJ 11 that has since gone down as a classic. Returning in full-family sizing, the Jordan 11 Retro Gamma will be released on December 13th for $235 (men), $190 (GS), $105 (PS), and $90 (TD). Expect STATUS Exclusive Access to go live on December 9th at 9 AM ET for in-store pick-up. Online shipping access will go live on December 11th at 9 AM ET.
Air Jordan 8 Retro Bugs Bunny

Jordan Brand will be bringing back another beloved retro Jordan sneaker, capping off the year with the Air Jordan 8 Retro Bugs Bunny. Last seen in 2013 (just like the Gamma 11s), this OG rendition of the Jordan 8 gained fame for its appearance in a Looney Tunes commercial where Bugs Bunny rocks the sneaker. Expect a drop on December 20 in full-family sizing for $215 (men), $165 (GS), $105 (PS), and $90 (TD). STATUS Exclusive Access will go live for in-store pick-up on December 16th at 9 AM ET. The following day (December 17th at 9 AM ET) will be for online shipping.
