The Best Sneaker Drops from JD Sports August 2026

School is back in session across much of the US, and the heat outside is still brutal, but at least there are plenty of high-heat (pun fully intended) sneaker releases on the horizon for the month of August.

The first two weeks of the month are relatively light, but things begin to pick up on the back half, including a new opportunity to buy Yeezy footwear, the debut of the Ja 4, Souvenir Vans, a G-Unit Reebok retro, and more. JD Sports will have you covered for these drops, as the retailer is getting a ton of sneakers that’ll be great for back to school or to fill out your end-of-summer and fall rotations.

Below, we’ve rounded up all of the best sneaker drops that you can cop at JD Sports in August 2026.

Yeezy Footwear - 08/13

JD Sports will be the exclusive retail partner for Ye, FKA Kanye West, and his independent Yeezy brand. To kick off the partnership, JD Sports is dropping multiple Yeezy Slide colorways alongside the BL-01 (Bully sneaker), HL-02 (women’s heels), and the AQ-01 (a foam slip-on).

Nike Ja 4 Nightmare - 08/13

Nike is finally dropping Ja Morant’s fourth signature sneaker after Morant gave us a teaser way back in April. The Nightmare colorway kicks off the Nike Ja 4, with the pair using a green and blue gradient color palette alongside metallic accents on the Swoosh and JA-Frame TPU reinforcement.

Air Jordan 3 Retro Sports Renaissance - 08/15

The Air Jordan 3 is undergoing a mismatched makeover on the all-new women’s exclusive Sports Renaissance colorway. The pair features a deep navy blue hue on the leather upper, replacing the elephant print details with this same material and color execution. Scrunchy jogger-like materials are used on the tongue, while the mismatch comes in the form of the red and blue accents split between the right and left sneaker, respectively.

Nike KD 19 Black - 08/19

Most of the Nike KD 19 colorways have been candy-color-coated renditions that are bright and in-your-face, but this black rendition removes all color for a single hue of black across the design.

Nike Mind 001 Restock - 08/20

If you still haven’t copped a pair of Nike Mind 001s, you’ll have another shot on August 20. JD Sports is carrying multiple colorways of the viral Nike mule, including black, old royal, and summit white.

Vans Old Skool 36 Souvenir Navy - 08/20

Vans’ formula of taking high fashion references and creating Old Skool colorways continues to thrive, especially with the Old Skool 36 Souvenir. The latest colorway in the Chanel-inspired Old Skool comes in navy.

Reebok G-Unit G6 - 08/20

50 Cent may no longer be on top of the rap game, but at one point, his sneaker deal with Reebok was the biggest between a hip-hop artist and a shoe company. His Reebok G-Unit G6 is finally making a return over 20 years after its original release, first dropping in the OG colorway.

Nike Air More Uptempo ‘96 OG - 08/21

Nike didn’t go all out to celebrate the Air More Uptempo ‘96’s 30th birthday in 2026, but they will be bringing back the OG colorway of the model in black and white.

Air Jordan 3 Retro Laser - 08/22

Jordan Brand is going back to the laser print detailing that it first experimented on in the 2000s with a brand-new colorway of the Air Jordan 3. The laser-etched graphic on the leather upper is accented by palomino and white colors throughout the design.

Air Jordan 1 Retro Low OG Laser - 08/22

To go alongside the AJ 3 Laser is the Air Jordan 1 Retro Low OG Laser. The pair opts for a darker finish, using black leather on most of the sneaker. Even still, the laser graphics are visible and are the clear anchor for this design.

Nike Shox BB4 OG - 08/28

Vince Carter made the Shox BB4 famous on the basketball court, and the OG colorway is back after a retro of the Olympic rendition.

Air Jordan 8 Retro Chrome - 08/29

We’ve seen a number of non-OG Air Jordans make retro returns for the first time in the last year, with the latest being the Chrome Air Jordan 8. The black and silver colorway is officially back on shelves at the end of August after last releasing in 2015.
