2. Nike SNKRS

If you’re a sneakerhead, you’re probably familiar with Nike’s limited release app, SNKRS. Nike uses a few different mechanics for their releases:

• LEO - the most common method and the one which Nike most frequently chooses to utilize when releasing products via SNKRS. When release time hits, refresh the page, enter your details, and submit your entry. You will see a “pending screen.” During this time, Nike is filtering through the accounts which have entered and selecting the lucky winners, those who are able to successfully checkout the sneaker. Although this release type isn’t necessarily “first come, first served”, it’s in your best interest to submit your entry as quickly as possible.
• DAN - for Nike’s most limited releases, they typically make use of the DAN release method. When a sneaker is released via DAN, Nike gives you between 10-30 minutes, depending on the release, to enter your account(s). This method is simply a raffle. Nike will send you a notification following the release, alerting you of whether or not your entry was successful.
• FLOW - releases are first come, first served. The fastest users are rewarded with the opportunity to purchase the sneaker. The faster you get to the product page and checkout, the better your odds.

3. Adidas Confirmed

The "Nike SNKRS" of adidas, the Confirmed app is where The Three Stripes hosts all of its limited product drops. Some releases are done via first come, first served, but many are loaded as a raffle. Create and set up an account to gain access to these raffles. Heads up, the Confirmed app does put a temporary hold on your card for the full amount the shoe costs. If you win the raffle, adidas will keep the payment; if you lose, it will be released and returned to your bank within a few days.

4. SVD

In an effort to combat bots, Spanish retailer, Sivasdescalzo, launched their raffles and launches app. Designed with REAL users in mind, the app allows its customers to enter raffles for the hottest kicks at the push of a button. To take part in SVD raffles, you must download the SVD app and signup for an account. Each time you enter a raffle you must include your ID, Driving License, or Passport number (to prevent multiple entries per customer). Sivas offers worldwide shipping and does not pre-authorize your card for entering raffles. If you enter you'll get an alert giving you 12 hours to purchase. No risk, all reward.

5. Footpatrol

London based fashion boutique, Footpatrol, announced their sneaker raffle release system in December 2018. The app is not required to enter their draws, but you will need to create an account to participate. Footpatrol is known for doing FLASH raffles that last only a few hours so be sure to enter quick. They offer worldwide shipping, and you’re not charged until you win the raffle and checkout via the unique link they send you.

6. Foot Locker

Foot Locker will sometimes host raffles for select sneakers, allowing you to enter via the retailer's mobile app. Once you have an account created, you can start an entry. First, you will select a size, then your entry method. Some raffles are exclusive to select Foot Locker locations, while others are offered via a "Ship to Me" option. You have the ability to enter for both in-store pick-up and shipping if both are available.

When choosing stores, you can select up to three locations. If selected, you will have to follow the pickup instructions. If you win via the "Ship to Me" option, your card is charged, and the pair will be shipped to your provided address.

In the past, Foot Locker used a system known as "Head Starts" to boost your chances of being selected. Today, they're dubbed "Xtra Boosts," working the same as it did before. You redeem Xtra Boosts using your FLX Rewards points, which are gained by making purchases through Foot Locker.

7. Champs

Champs is owned by Foot Locker, meaning their system for entering raffles is identical. You'll need to use the Champs mobile app instead of the Foot Locker app, but things are same across both retailers. You'll be able to use Xtra Boosts the same, and the process to enter is also identical.

8. DICK'S Sporting Goods

Though DICK'S Sporting Goods owns Foot Locker, the retailer's raffle process is similar. You will need to download the DICK'S Sporting Goods app and create an account. From there, you can enter raffles for sneakers by navigating to the "Launches" page.

There are options for in-store pickup, where you can select up to three DICK'S locations, and an option for shipping. If you win for in-store pickup, you'll be notified via the app and via email that you have won the day before the release. From there, follow the pickup instructions.

If you win a raffle for online shipping, you'll be notified by the app and by email on release day. The order confirmation email will provide you with the estimated delivery date.

9. Hibbett

Hibbett works similarly to Foot Locker and Champs in that you'll be able to enter for in-store pickup and online shipping for sneaker raffles. You can pick up to three stores for in-store pickup. You'll be notified via an email, an in-app notification, and a text message if you signed up for text updates during registration.

Hibbett also selects winners in two rounds, sending out a wave of raffle wings at 12:00 PM ET the day before a release and a second wave at 4:00 PM ET. If you are selected in the first round, you will have until 4:00 PM ET to confirm your win, and you'll have until 7:00 PM if you are chosen in the second wave. If you are not selected, you'll be notified after 7:00 PM.

10. Kith

Kith's mobile app is the only way to enter sneaker raffles for the retailer. Your Kith account is connected to your Shopify account, but Kith also has its own loyalty program that allows you to earn points for purchases. Unfortunately, you cannot use these points to boost your chances at securing a W.

To enter a Kith raffle, you will need to sign in and head to the "Drawings" tab on the app. Each release is different, with some offering in-store pick-up, online shipping, or both. You cannot enter for both in-store and online, you'll have to choose one.

If you choose online shipping, you'll be sent to a "checkout" page, but you are not purchasing the sneaker right away. Provide your information on the page, and if selected, your card will be charged for the amount you agreed to. For in-store pick-up, you will receive an email and app notification. From there, pick-up instructions are provided.
