In the current landscape of the sneaker game, we’re used to getting first looks on pairs months, sometimes years before they’re actually set to release, usually to the dismay of the designers and collaborators who worked on the project. It looks like Bephies Beauty Supply was able to keep a second Air Jordan 7 under wraps. BBS x Air Jordan 7 Retro SP “Sanddrift,” a secondary “Seafoam” colorway has appeared.
As with the "Sanddrift" colorway, this seafoam green rendition reworks the iconic AJ 7 silhouette to include outdoor-ready features like the mesh internal bootie and Huarache-inspired heel tab as well as a color palette inspired by Bephies Caribbean heritage. Across the nubuck upper, a muted green shade is present while a variety of yellow, blue, and green shades land on branding details, laces, and the tongue. Back on the heel, “Air Jordan” branding makes it to the aforementioned Huarache-like TPU heel tab, though just below this sits Bephies Beauty Supply’s emblem in a tonal blue shade matching the tongue. Underfoot, an AJ 7 midsole gets an all-over tonal green hue while the outsole below features semi-translucent rubber.
The Bephies Beauty Supply x Air Jordan 7 Retro SP Seafoam was originally released on August 25th, 2022 at Union LA in-store if you purchased the "Sanddrift" colorway. Now an online drop will take place on bephiesbeautysupply.com on September 1st. Launching in women’s sizing, the retail price is set at $210.
