When it comes to object design, Benjamin Edgar is a household name. World-renowned for creating everything from foam hands to incense holders, this season, the Chicago-based creative will be lending his artistic mind to Vans with the upcoming Benjamin Edgar x Vault by Vans Collection. Marking the duo's first time collaborating with each other, this three-sneaker collection is sleek and simple yet striking and sophisticated, at the same time.
Taking on the Half Cab Decon VLT LX and the Authentic One-Piece NL VLT, Edgar's take on the Half Cab comes in a white and safety orange color scheme and an all-white version. The Authentic, on the other hand, also comes in a minimalist palette but with a subtle bone contrast that is sure to turn heads wherever you go. All three pairs are outfitted in canvas with the padding completely removed, replaced instead with a knurled rubber which offers a deconstructed aesthetic. Co-branded detailing can be found throughout, while "BENJAMIN EDGAR, A VULCANIZED COMPANY" is written across the lateral midsole in a capitalized font.
TheBenjamin Edgar x Vault by Vans Collection is set to release on November 4th, 2022.
