Puma's recent collaborative streak continues to thrive as the German sportswear giant partners with renowned Japanese streetwear labels BEAMS and Sasquatchfabrix. This collaboration brings a fresh take on the classic Puma Palermo, inspired by the savanna biome, reflecting the mascots of both Sasquatchfabrix and Puma. Crafted under the concept of "a uniform dedicated to the people who live in the savanna of the city," this release showcases a rich blend of earthy tones and textures.
The BEAMS x Sasquatchfabrix x Puma Palermo features a sophisticated color palette of ginger tea and cashew, perfectly capturing the essence of the savanna. The sneaker's base is made from lightweight mesh in a cream hue, providing breathability and comfort. Complementing this are the suede overlays on the toe, eyestays, and heel, rendered in a tan shade that mimics the look of a savanna brush. The tan theme extends to the Formstrip and tongue, enhancing the cohesive design. Grassy green shades adorn the Puma logo on the tongue and the Puma branding on the midfoot. Completing the look is a gum midsole and outsole, ensuring durability and a stylish finish.
The BEAMS x Sasquatchfabrix x Puma Palermo will release on June 8, 2024, through BEAMS, Sasquatchfabrix, and select retailers online and in-store in Japan. Coming in men’s sizing, the retail price is set at $105. Download the Sole Retriever mobile app to stay updated on the latest releases, raffles, news, and more in the sneaker and streetwear world.
