After teaming up with Marvel just last week for a comic book-inspired collection, A Bathing Ape is keeping in line with this illustrative theme for its next drop, the BAPE SK8 STA December 2022 Pack. Taking on the Japanese streetwear imprint's signature skate shoe, the two-sneaker collection pays homage to the color palettes that you might find in your favorite anime or manga series, and it's the ultimate way to end the year.
Unveiled in "Orange" and "Grey" flavors, both SK8 STAs work on top of buttery suede bases and are overlaid with premium leather panels throughout. BAPE branding adorns the tongue tag and back, while the Nigo-helmed label's iconic shooting star motif glides through the lateral and medial sidewalls. Elsewhere, the number "93" is etched onto a rubber panel around the heel as a nod to the year that A Bathing Ape was founded, and all of this sits on top of a half pipe-ready rubber midsole that's as comfortable as it gets.
The BAPE SK8 STA December 2022 Pack is releasing on December 16th, 2022 in men's sizes. Retail has yet TBA, but they will be available via BAPE and a select retailers worldwide.
