As BAPE commemorates its 30th Anniversary this year, 2023 has witnessed a flourish of link-ups, a notable one being with Michael Jackson's estate. However, recounting BAPE's collaborative milestones is only complete by mentioning adidas. Their partnership, which traces back to 2003, has given sneaker enthusiasts many memorable drops.

In 2023, shelves have been graced with releases like the Collegiate Navy and Brown Campus 80, the distinct Blue Camo and Green Camo Forum 84 Low, and the ultra-limited Triple White Forum 84 Low. Adding to the legacy is their recent venture, the adidas Stan Smith Golf. But the year's crescendo seems to be the forthcoming BAPE x adidas Stan Smith in Cloud White and Core Black.

Sporting an immaculate Cloud White and Core Black, these renditions of the Stan Smith are an ode to understated sophistication with bursts of signature BAPE flair. The shoe's leather upper boasts an embossed BAPE camo print, offering a subtle nod to the brand's heritage. The heel tab proudly showcases BAPE's vibrant camo, contrasting with the subtle detail.

Glistening touches of metallic gold adorn the shoe, from the midfoot's Stan Smith inscription to the special 30th Anniversary BAPE lace dubrae. The iconic Stan Smith portrait on the tongue tag is replaced with BAPE's unmistakable APE logo, bathed in the same luxe gold. Complementary golden BAPE branding graces the heel tab and insole, while a rich creamy midsole and outsole seal the design's elegance.

The BAPE x adidas Stan Smith Collection was initially releaed on November 18, 2023, through BAPE, adidas, and select retailers online and in-store for $160. The Cloud White colorway is set to re-release exclusively through adidas on June 24, 2025. Coming in men’s sizing, retail is $160.
