This fusion is epitomized in their ongoing collaboration with Crocs, transforming the latter's reputation from a comfort-first shoe brand into a staple of avant-garde luxury. Following up on the Spring/Summer 2022 Collection, the duo have more up their sleeves as images of new colorways of the Women’s Pool Slide Sandal have emerged.
Though there are likely more pairs in the 2024 Balenciaga x Crocs Collection, the two sandals seen so far come in Blue and a Graffiti-inspired variant. These pieces retain the iconic platform sole and open-toe design that have characterized previous releases, offering a bold statement in silhouette and style. The Blue version presents a serene, monochromatic look, ensuring versatility and a subtle nod to understated luxury. In contrast, the Graffiti model embodies a rebellious spirit, featuring a white base splashed with punk-inspired black Balenciaga script and logos. Both pairs feature Balenciaga branding embedded into the footwear mold, as seen on the forefoot covering, footbed, and outsole.
The Balenciaga x Crocs 2024 Collection will release sometime in 2024 through Crocs, Balenciaga, and select retailers online and in-store. For the Women’s Pool Slide Sandal, the retail was previously set at $595 and likely will remain the same for these new pairs.
