With news breaking today, October 25th, that Ye and adidas are no longer working together, The Three Stripes is set to take a huge financial and cultural hit. Many have taken interest in the brand strictly for Yeezys, though the German sportswear giant has plenty of collaborators in their pocket. One that many have speculated may be utilized to fill in the large gap left by Yeezy is Puerto Rican superstar Bad Bunny. So far, the duo has released a handful of adidas Forum Buckle Low colorways, a Forum and Powerphase mashup, and a Response CL, though the Forum Buckle Low has reigned supreme. With the “White” colorway teased way back in January of this year, a close friend of Bad Bunny and his girlfriend Gabriela Berlingeri, Marena Sofía, was spotted wearing the pair this past weekend at a sneaker event in Puerto Rico.
Just like all of the Bad Bunny x adidas Forum Buckle Low colorways previously released, the upper comes with a mixture of suede and leather with the addition of a buckle strap across the tongue. Shades of white and grey mix with the latter of the two appearing on the mudguard and heel overlay while the vamp, tongue lining, and Three Stripes logo come in a darker grey. As for the rest of the overlays and underlays, white leather takes over with the collar portion getting a puffier appearance compared to a standard Forum Low. While the pair comes with a white set of laces to begin, it seems extra laces will be included as Marena was spotted wearing a pair with neon yellow flat laces. Along the tongue, a removable cover features Bad Bunny’s logo while the stitched-on tongue will come with a standard adidas Trefoil logo. Completing the design is the white rubber midsole with exposed Dellinger webbing on the lateral side paired with a grey rubber outsole.
The Bad Bunny x adidas Forum Buckle Low White is set to release on December 10th, 2022 through adidas Confirmed and select retailers online and in-store.
