Bad Bunny has a New adidas Slide Releasing Soon
Published
The slide and slip-on game forever changed when Ye (FKA Kanye West) dropped the adidas Yeezy Slide. Basically, the entire footwear industry launched its own version of this foam-based slip-on in the years that followed. While the Yeezy Slide itself is no longer on the market after adidas dropped Ye in 2022, The Three Stripes may have found a follow-up that could be just as successful.
Around two months back, Bad Bunny, the Puerto Rican megastar who has been one of adidas’ strongest partners in the 2020s following the end of adidas Yeezy, took to his Instagram for a semi-rare photo dump. The third slide reveals a picture of Benito’s bare feet next to a pair of foam-based adidas slides.
Closer inspection of the slides reveals debossed adidas para Bad Bunny text on the interior sidewall and serrated Three Stripes on the footbed. The exterior of the slide follows a similar design to the Yeezy Slide with an opening for the toes and a forefoot strap made of foam. More Three Stripes are debossed on this forefoot strap.
So far in 2025, adidas and Bad Bunny have worked on five different sneakers, three pairs of the all-new adidas Ballerina, and three colorways of Benito’s warped take on the adidas Gazelle. The latter of the two projects works as an homage to his home country of Puerto Rico, as not only are all three pairs inspired by locations on the island (Cabo Rojo, Santurce, and El Yunque), but two of the pairs (Santurce and El Yunque) were released exclusively in PR.
As for the new Bad Bunny x adidas Slide, there’s no confirmed release information at this time. However, Benito was just spotted wearing another pair on The Late Show with Stephan Colbert, meaning we’re getting closer to a release.
