2022 appears to be a big year for Bad Bunny and adidas collabs.

Taking the stage for a surprise appearance at CinemaCon, Bad Bunny announced his starring role in the upcoming Spider-Man spin-off “El Muerto.” While most of the attention went to this monumental moment in Marvel history, few were looking as to what sneakers Benito was wearing on-foot. Taking a look, you’ll notice the newest colorway, “Core Black,” of the Bad Bunny x adidas Originals Response CL.

Coming dressed in all-black, sans the purple Three Stripes, Bad Bunny takes some creative liberty in his version of the archival adidas runner, changing various overlays into wave-like patterns that drip down onto the midsole. On the leather toecap you’ll find two embroidered hearts, sticking to the all-black look. More Bad Bunny motifs appear on the heel with his eye design seen on previous releases stamped on the heel tab. Below all of the previously mentioned leather overlays is a black mesh base, providing breathability and comfort when on-foot. Rounding out the look is the black on black midsole and outsole combo.

The Bad Bunny x adidas Originals Response CL Core Black is set to drop in 2022 through adidas Confirmed and select Three Stripes retailers online and in-store. Coming in men’s sizing, the retail price is set at $160.
