Streetwear brand Awake NY is back at it with Jordan Brand. After cooking up highlight pairs of the Jordan Air Ship, Awake NY and the Jumpman have been locked in. Following last year’s two-pack of Air Jordan 5 collabs in black and blue and a bold pink colorway, the NYC-based brand is bringing that same flair to His Airness’ first championship sneaker, the Air Jordan 6. After on-foot reveals of the pack, detailed images show off the bubbly pink rendition of the Awake NY x Air Jordan 6 Retro Playful Pink.
Matching the colorblocking of the black and blue pair, the Awake NY x Air Jordan 6 Retro Playful Pink bisects the iconic silhouette with shades of pink, with a lighter shade at the front half and a more vivid color at the back. A medium pink shade makes up the suede base, while the overlays get a lighter pastel shade. The plastic midfoot cage adapts a subtly darker shade of pink while also showcasing Awake NY’s signature “A” logo in semi-translucent pink. The heel and collar go even bolder with a flash of hot pink.
In addition to the multiple shades of pink, hints of Infrared 23 land throughout the sneaker, including the lace lock, the sports car-inspired spoiler, the Nike Air and Awake NY branding on the heel, and the stitching throughout the upper. The black midsole nearly mirrors the classic Air Jordan 6 Infrared, but with the addition of white paint splatter on the infrared accents on the heel. Semi-translucent details on the light pink tongue and off-white outsole complete the look.
The Awake NY x Air Jordan 6 Retro Playful Pink will join the Midnight Navy colorway and matching apparel collection during the Fall 2026 season.
