AVAVAV's Next adidas Collection is Quietly Chaotic
PublishedQuick Facts
- AVAVAV and adidas reunite for Fall/Winter 2025
- The lineup is headlined by the all-new adidas Bubble, plus a warped, deconstructed take on the Superstar Vacuum
- Dropping November 14, 2025, the collection will release via AVAVAV, adidas, and select retailers worldwide

AVAVAV is, without a shadow of a doubt, one of the wildest names in fashion right now. Founded by Swedish designer Beate Karlsson, the Florence-based label has built a cult following by turning chaos, humor, and surrealism into high fashion – think melted silhouettes, claw-like boots, and intentionally “falling apart” garments that blur the line between art and clothing. After two eccentric collaborations with adidas, the power duo is back once again. But compared to their previous drops, the AVAVAV x adidas Fall/Winter 2025 collection is surprisingly tame – at least by their standards.
The highlight of the pack is undoubtedly the adidas Bubble. First revealed on the runways of Milan back in March, this all-original silhouette comes in two colorways: Grey One and Core Black. While its foundation borrows cues from the Y2K-era Megaride, complete with tightly woven mesh uppers and soft suede overlays, it’s been completely transformed by a bulbous midsole that wraps dramatically around the entire mudguard. The exaggerated form looks like it’s about to pop at any second – a perfect nod to AVAVAV’s playful absurdity. Classic Three Stripes branding hits the sides, while glossy co-branded tongue badges add a premium finish and a reminder that this is no ordinary sneaker.

For those who prefer something a bit... subtler, the collection also includes the Superstar Vacuum. Available in Carbon and Lumber, both pairs appear traditional from afar, but closer inspection reveals sculpted and distorted leather panels that warp the silhouette’s familiar lines. At the toe, the iconic Shelltoe has been intentionally cracked and weathered, giving the shoe a raw, deconstructed edge. The Scandi brand’s quirky mascot also appears on the tongue, adding a small but unmistakable AVAVAV touch.
While these designs still push boundaries, they’re far more wearable than the duo’s first link-up from last year – yes, the one with the bright red four-finger toe caps. Still, few partnerships are as creative, daring, and conversation-starting as AVAVAV x adidas, a collab that continues to challenge what luxury streetwear can look like.
The AVAVAV x adidas Fall/Winter 2025 collection is scheduled to release on November 14, 2025, via AVAVAV, adidas, and select global retailers both online and in-store. The Bubble will retail for $350, while the Superstar Vacuum will go for $280.
