Back in 2022, the Brand With The Three Stripes brought the Adimatic back from the dead. Regarded by many as one of the most iconic skate shoes of the '90s, it has been making waves since. Now, it looks like the German giant is teaming up with atmos and X-LARGE for a triple collab on the coveted retro silhouette.
While the Tokyo-based boutique has worked on a few Adimatics, the atmos × XLARGE x adidas Adimatic marks the first time that it has teamed up with the American label for a pair of adidas sneakers. Arriving in an understated black suede, this is contrasted with neon green Three Stripes along the lateral and medial side panels. The tongue features XLARGE's legendary gorilla logo, but instead of the usual capitalized "XLARGE" text, it has been replaced with atmos' lowercase logo. Underfoot, the foam midsole is dipped in a clean cream hue, and finished off with a healthy dose of gum rubber.
The atmos × XLARGE x adidas Adimatic originally dropped on November 4th, 2022 in Japan while a US release took place on May 10, 2023. Available in men's sizing, the retail price set at $120.
