atmos, the Japanese-based sneaker boutique is well known for their collaborations. While often sticking to the Three Stripes, atmos is linking up with Italian sneaker brand Fila to redesign the Renno silhouette, bringing galactic themes to the atmos x Fila Renno “Galaxy.”
Taking Fila’s running performance archive and combining it with contemporary street design, this Fila Renno comes covered in mesh and various forms of leather. Dressing the leather mudguard is a galaxy pattern in a mixture of reds and purple hues against a black void. This surrounds the black mesh base of the upper that meets with the vamp and eyelets covered in the same galaxy print. Black flat laces work up the galaxy tongue to the white Fila branding.
Along the midfoot, an overlay of the same galaxy-printed leather is accented by a silver patent overlay working from collar to midfoot. While the upper lacks any atmos branding, on the insole which shares the same finish as the overlays is co-branded Fila and atmos details. Rounding out the look is a black midsole and two-tone icy blue and black rubber outsole that glows-in-the-dark.
The atmos x Fila Renno Galaxy is set to release on March 4th, 2022 exclusively through atmos Tokyo’s online raffle. Coming in men’s sizing, the retail price is set at 14,300 Yen (approx $123 USD).
