Building upon their collaborative success, Japanese retailer atmos and adidas are back with another take on the Adimatic. Previously dressing the model in vibrant color schemes, the two collaborators now pay tribute to the legendary adidas Superstar with a more muted “Hommage” colorway.
A clean black and white colorway takes on leather construction and offers a stark departure from the usual suede build. White leather is applied to the mudguard, midfoot panel, heel, and tongue, offering a crisp contrast to the black portions. The signature large black Three Stripes on the midfoot provides a robust backdrop for the white lace set. Adding to the detailing is the black tongue tag, featuring the recognizable adidas branding. The black midsole and outsole finalize the sneaker's look.
The atmos x adidas Adimatic Hommage is set to release May 27 through atmos online and in-store, as well as adidas Confirmed. As of now, the pair will remain exclusive to Japan. Coming in men’s sizing, the retail price is set at ¥13,200 (approx $95 USD).
