The Aries x Reebok Classic Leather Mystic's Shoe Releases January 2024

London-based label Aries has embarked on its first-ever collaboration with Reebok, revamping the iconic Classic Leather silhouette. Previously, we saw Aries tackle the Crocs Classic Hiker Xscape Clog, though this new Reebok collaboration draws on different themes: magic and mysticism.
Instead of overdoing things, Aries subtly changes the Classic Leather, retaining the model's look while infusing it with magical details. It features a pale aqua hue enveloping the leather upper, reminiscent of mystical waters and ethereal realms. This tranquil base is accentuated with touches of gold on the tongue and branding elements, adding a sense of enchantment and luxury. The split branding approach further highlights the collaboration's uniqueness: the right sneaker showcases Reebok's logo on the midfoot window and the heel/tongue tag of the left pair. In contrast, Aries' branding adorns the corresponding spots on the left sneaker.
The magic of this collaboration extends to the interior details. Inside, the reverse side of the tongue tag on the left sneaker displays a wizard's portrait, evoking a sense of ancient wisdom and magical lore. On the right sneaker, an intriguing quote (also found on the packaging’s lid) adds to the narrative, speaking of a "tradition of over 1000 years." Rounding out the look is the tonal sole unit.
The Aries x Reebok Classic Leather Mystic's Shoe will release on January 19, 2024, through Aries and on January 24 via Reebok and select retailers online and in-store.
