Shane O’Neill’s April Skateboards is getting its first crack at a collaborative project with Nike SB on the infamous SB Dunk Low.
Shane O’Neill has had an impressive career in the skate world even though he is a man of few words. Aside from the semi-frequent posts on Instagram, the Australian native has been building his brand, April Skateboards, from the ground up for years while maintaining key sponsorships from brands like Diamond Supply & Co., Spitfire Wheels, and most notably Nike SB. In the past, O’Neill has hinted at a possible signature silhouette with the label, however, it seems his label April Skateboards will first collaborate on the iconic Nike SB Dunk Low according to k9_itsiant on Twitter.
As of now, we have no photos of the pair, though we do have an official color code and SKU for the preschool and toddler pairs. Coming in “Turbo Green Metallic Silver,” expect the silhouette to remain unchanged in terms of its tooling and feature the two-tone green and silver color scheme throughout the model. Co-branded details are likely to make an appearance as well.
The April Skateboards x Nike SB Dunk Low is expected to release Summer 2023 through select Nike SB-affiliated skate shops and possibly an online release through April Skateboards and Nike SNKRS. Releasing in men's, preschool, and toddler sizing, the pair will retail for $120 (men), $90 (PS) and $75 (TD).
