Bringing the labels unique, fantasy aesthetic to life, Andersson Bell’s collaborative efforts with ASICS have spanned a variety of silhouettes and even include a brand-new model dubbed the HN2-S PROTOBLAST. Now sticking to archival releases, Andersson Bell and ASICS come together again for a pack of ASICS GEL-Sonoma 15-50 colorways.
Coming in an “Olive,” “Pink,” and “Black” colorway, the humble hiking-ready GEL-Sonoma 15-50 receives minimal changes to the actual silhouette sans the include Andersson Bell branding detail located on the collar. Throughout the upper sits a mixture of leather, nylon, TPU, and mesh with the base layer and tongue coming in the latter of the four materials. Nylon straps extend from the laces down towards various panels, such as the mudguard and ASICS logo, while the laces themselves come in a similar nylon material contrasting the straps holding them in place. Working back to the heel, you’ll find a crisscross TPU design that acts as a heel counter in a contrasting shade compared to the rest of the sneaker. Underfoot sits a GEL-cushioned midsole paired with a trail-ready rubber outsole.
The Andersson Bell x ASICS GEL-Sonoma 15-50 Pack is set to release on January 20th, 2023 through select retailers online and in-store with a wider release through ASICS and Andersson Bell set for a later date. Coming in men’s sizing, the retail price is set at $140.
