For Dubai, the premier destination for sneakers and streetwear has been amongst few. While simultaneously providing sneaker releases, the retailer also works on its own streetwear line, having collaborated on a Space Jam 2: A New Legacy capsule and various cross-brand collections. Now getting their first Reebok collab, the brand looks to the Middle East itself and the region's history of intricate carpet making to create the amongst few x Reebok Club C “Magic Carpet."
Coming dressed with high quality leather across the upper, shades of white and tan makeup the color palette. Overlays of leather wrap around the base layer, both coming in a white-on-white makeup with tonal stitching to match. Going up the eyelets is a set of white laces, sitting above the off white mesh tongue.
The usual Reebok branding on the midfoot window and heel tab is replaced by Arabic text. Further amongst few branding gets its placement on the lace tips, medial side tag and underneath the translucent outsole. Tying in the “Magic Carpet” moniker is the insoles that feature two unique patterns on the left and right pair. Rounding everything out is an off-white sole.
The amongst few x Reebok Club C “Magic Carpet” is set to release exclusively through amongst few’s raffle that will end on March 5th. Coming in men’s sizing, the pair will retail for 499 AED (approx $136 USD).
